Academic Session

The academic year of the school starts from the 1st of April and ends on 31st March. It is divided into two terms as given below.

  • I Term - April to September
  • II Term - October to March

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), Delhi under the 10 + 2 pattern and follows the curriculum, syllabi and textbooks prescribed by it.

The school offers Science and Commerce streams in classes XI and XII

Medium of Instructions

  • English, which is also the First Language taught in the school.
  • Second Language : Hindi
  • Third Language : any one of the following languages:
    • French
    • Sanskrit
    • Marathi
    • Gujarati

Educomp Smartclass

Educomp Smartclass

Implementation of ‘Educomp Smartclass’ in the school has proved to be a boon in the teaching learning process. This technology, on one hand, improved teacher’s effectiveness and productivity in the class and on the other, made learning an enjoyable experience for students.

Scheme of Study in Primary Classes (I to V)

There are no terminal examinations for these classes. However, The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) of the scholastic and co-scholastic areas is done throughout the year in the form of oral tests, written tests and activities. Based on these evaluations recording is done on the Achievement Record Book thrice in a session.

There are two terminal examinations conducted during an academic year. Examinations are based on the syllabus covered up to the examination period.

Principals Honours

The students who secure the following marks in the annual cumulative results are placed in the Principal's Honours List and are felicitated on the Annual Prize Distribution Day.

Class I & II : 596 marks and above out of 600
Class III : 590 marks and above out of 600
Class IV : 580 marks and above out of 600
Class V & VI : 560 marks and above out of 600
Class VI & VI I : 550 marks and above out of 600
Class IX & XI : 425 marks and above out of 600

Overall Toppers

Gold Medal : The school toppers of the years in AISSCE and AISSE are eligible for Gold Medals if they secure 90% or above (Class XII) and CGPA 9 or above (Class X) in their respective examinations.

Silver Medal : Students who secure second and third positions in the school in AISSCE and AISSE are eligible for Silver Medals provided that they secure 80% to 89% and CGPA 8 to 8.9 in their respective examinations.
